Where do the events take place?

Events take place at the beautiful Sanburn Hall Golf Course and Hotel. Ideally situated just outside of York on the A64 and set in 1000 acres of lakes and woodland.

Activities will take place indoors in the large Sportshall on site with the quiz and food served in one of the fantastic conference rooms or restaurants on site.

Is it just my company or will it be mixed?

We are keen to bring workplaces of all sizes together. If you are a small company you can enter with a team of 5 people, to compete against other local businesses. For larger organisations, with more colleagues, companies can enter more than one team up to a maximum of 30 people or we can even put on a bespoke event just for your company.

When does it start?

The first event will take place on December 2nd 2021

Events take place on Thursdays 13.00-16.30 with time for a quiz and food afterwards which is all included in the entry fee.

We will running 'Winning Workplaces' at this venue every Thursday until March 2022.

Who are the trainers?

The activities are run by Speedkix founder, Andy Phillips. Andy is a former Lecturer who spent 20 years preparing people to join the Armed Forces and emergency services teaching leadership and teamwork. He is also a qualified goalkeeper coach and has worked with many professional and semi-professional clubs.

Steve Roberts is Director of operations at Speedkix will also be delivering the activities. Steve is also First Team Manager at semi -professional football club, Pickering Town FC.
