Archery is a great activity for families and groups in York. At Speedkix we have a mobile archery range and we also have some great archery venues in York, such as Sandburn Hall. We have recently just done a fantastic archery event for two hours for a group of 15 people with some great feedback.

How many people works best for archery?

The ideal minimum amount is 4 people. This can be made up with any combination of children or adults. However if we have another booking we may be able to have a session for just two people. We do hour sessions for small groups and for larger groups we can deliver a longer session. Usually an hour of archery is all you need to see a massive improvements for beginners. For all levels of experience of archery we can organise loads of fun games and competitions.

What age is archery suited for?

We start from 7 years of age and we have had people on our archery activities in their late seventies. So it really is a massively inclusive sporting activity and one reason that is fast becoming one of our most popular activities So even grandparents can take part with grandchildren.

How much does it cost?

We normally work on a family or group of friends for £25pp. For larger groups we can apply a discount. Obviously you do not have to be from the same family why not try archery with a group of friends?
